Going to be super honest here. On the search for a degree that aligned with tech & intertwined innovation and creativity, I found myself in Interaction Design without knowing a lot about it. My initial thoughts of it being mostly web design and viscom, has since changed DRASTICALLY. Now that I've just graduated (YIPPE), I can say for sure that UX/UI Design is not all about the nice-looking stuff - it's also about equipping empathy in order to bridge gaps, and to see real needs transformed into meaningful experiences. Empathy! Yes! As someone who can cry so easily at #hopecore, I've found an eagerness to learn about people and what matters most to them.
